Cruising Area

Southeast Alaska is comprised of numerous islands laying in a North - South direction between 54o and 59o North Latitude. This string of mountainous islands creates a series of waterways protected from the harsh waters of the Gulf of Alaska. The Alexander Archipelago, which makes up Southeast Alaska is a temperate rain forest with large stands of virgin Western Hemlock and Sitka Spruce.
